Ridge Line: Interpolating Spot Levels

This function lets you interpolate new Spot Levels along an existing Ridge Line.

The function button is located on the LAND4 palette under the Ridge Line group:

How to interpolate along a Ridge Line

• Select the Ridge Line in plan view.

• Press the function button:

• Start placing new interpolated Spot Levels along the selected Ridge Line:

• The newly interpolated Spot Levels have no dependencies and are not yet part of the Ridge Line. If you want the interpolated Spot Levels to follow edits made to the Ridge Line, you must first add them to the line using the “Add Spot Level to a Ridge/Contour line” function.
